Information - All  you need to know about shipping to Malaysia

1. From the time we pick up your baggage to the time it is delivered to your destination address we handle everything. The charges listed in the door to door sea freight section include customs clearance, terminal and local delivery costs.

1. We understand that your belongings are special, so we do everything we can to ensure that they arrive at their destinations in great shape. We supply a wide variety of robust cartons and packing cases, free of charge, in many shapes and sizes. (A nominal deposit of £5 per carton is required which is deducted from your final bill). We can supply bubble wrap and crepe wrap for fragile items. Please ensure that packing materials are ordered at the time of booking.

1. Please complete all documentation prior to collection. You must ensure that all items are properly packed, sealed and can be lifted by one man. If you have exceptionally heavy items, please notify us in advance.

1. Packing is a matter of commonsense. Do not overload individual items (use an extra carton) – they are supplied free of charge and do use the recommended cases for large or fragile objects such as computers, television or stereos.

1. Pack delicate objects in the centre of the carton and surround with soft or protective materials.

1. Professional packing is available for delicate items, or very large shipments. Please ask for details.

1. We cannot accept the following goods for shipment: hazardous goods of any description – Aerosols, batteries, explosives, corrosives, perfume, pressurized or unpressurised cylinders and/or similar type container, firearms and ammunition, radioactive materials, paint, fuel and/or fuel tanks, etc.

1. Belongings containing such items may be subject to delay and extra charges, which will be charged to the sender’s or consignee’s account. Please note that your belongings may be subject to x-ray and/or hand search, at the complete discretion of our own staff or other suitably qualified security officers. Items are carried at our, or the carrier’s, sole discretion and we reserve the right to refuse to carry all or part of a shipment.

1. When sending belonging please ensure that you complete a full packing list which is provided to you, which may be required for customs and insurance purposes. Keep the top copy yourself and return the other copies to us or to our representative. We will also require a photocopy of the ID page of your passport to be attached to the packing list.

1. Collections may be made by us or our appointed carriers. We will notify you to expect either an AM or PM collection time in advance. Please ensure that you are at home, at the appointed time, as wasted visits not only cost money (extra collections are chargeable) but inconvenience other clients too. To help us find you quickly, please supply us your address with the complete 7 digit postcode.

1. Please ensure that you have competed in advance of our driver’s arrival, all documentation given to you, and that your belongings is ready for our driver to take.

1. Call our booking desk on 0113 278 1040 and tell us the destination, number of items and size, together with your postcode (our advanced computer system tracks your address via your postcode).

1. If you have problems costing your items, just note down the approximate number and types of cartons you wish to send and call us, we’ll be happy to help. Ask about insurance, and don’t forget to request any special packing cases, packing materials, or bubble wrap for fragile items. If you need wooden cases you should order them in advance.
